Joseph James lives in Maple Valley, Washington with his wife, Carole, and Maggie, their “Velcro” Vizsla. He is a graduate of the Popular Fiction Writer’s Program at the University of Washington and his novel, Riverine Blood, won first place in the Pacific Northwest Writer’s Association’s mystery/thriller category. His fiction has appeared in New Voices VI, an anthology series published by Goodfellow Press, and in the Pybus Point Newsletter.
